Biography
It's hard to slow down when everything around you says keep pushing. Maybe you feel like you can't stop — like easing up means letting someone down, or losing something you've worked too hard to risk. Showing weakness doesn't feel like an option. The pressure to perform is constant, and it's coming from every direction: family, community, your own relentless inner voice.
You know this pace isn't sustainable. But you're not sure what stopping actually looks like — or who you are without the doing.
The good news is that you don't have to keep living this way.
I know this terrain because I've moved through it myself. I grew up in a world where asking for help wasn't easy — where mental health stayed quiet and achievement mattered most. When I finally went to therapy, it changed how I saw myself, how I carried expectations, and what I believed I was allowed to want. That experience is part of why I do this work — and how I show up for clients who are ready to put down some of what they've been carrying.
If something in this is landing for you, I'd love to connect. Therapy with me is a space to slow down without falling apart — to figure out what's yours to carry and what isn't, and to find a way forward that actually fits who you are.
