Christina Hong-Huber
PsyD, BCB - Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Biography
I am a licensed clinical psychologist based in Washington D.C. working primarily with clients in D.C., Virginia, Maryland, and New York. Through the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT), I can provide teletherapy to clients in 40+ states. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, relational concerns, multicultural issues, and adjustment and life transition challenges with adults, adolescents, and couples from a variety of cultural identities. I work from a social justice-oriented and trauma-informed lens and provide culturally affirming and responsive therapy that is tailored to the needs of the client.
Before opening my own practice, I worked with individuals and couples at a private practice in Northern Virginia, and before that at Swarthmore College’s Counseling and Psychological Services. I also have experience working with clients in outpatient and inpatient hospitals, community mental health clinics, other college counseling centers and private practices, and a private school. In addition to earning my Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree, I have taught as an adjunct professor in the undergraduate psychology departments at two universities. I have published about anxiety and OCD, presented widely, and received awards for demonstrating exceptional client care and academic achievement.
