Biography
Yuna Youn, LCSW has 7+ years experience working with people who struggle with anger, anxiety and depression. She has been working at Rikers Island for over 5 years with the 18-21 year old and adult male populations. While attending NYU Silver School of Social Work she interned with Midtown Community Court, Womankind (formerly New York Asian Women's Center), a teen drama therapy group and teen homeless shelter. As a member and past presenter with the National Organization of Forensic Social Work, she is interested in the changing face of forensic social work, social justice, and how they relate to Asian American mental health.
