Relationships are the heartbeat of our lives, but sometimes they get stuck in patterns that feel impossible to break. My mission is to provide a safe space where couples and families can gently untangle negative cycles and find their way back to one another through communication and emotional safety. As a Level 2 Restoration therapist, I believe that true connection happens when we heal the heart as well as the mind. To support this, I integrate Brainspotting—a compassionate, trauma-informed approach that helps release deep-seated emotional pain stored in the body that traditional talk therapy might miss. By healing these hidden wounds from the past, we create room for new trust, hope, and lasting intimacy. It would be my privilege to walk beside you on this journey. I offer short-term intensive and Korean-language therapy.

Sarah Jin

LMFT

Pasadena, CA

Accepting new clientsTelehealth offered

For many years, I was an international student and went through a complicated and arduous immigration process to become a citizen. Through navigating this process, I developed a greater sensitivity to diverse issues in the community. I worked with South East Asian Refugees in St. Paul, Minnesota and diverse immigrant families in Southern California. Prior to having private practice, I worked at a community mental health agency in Pasadena for 18 years as a therapist and supervisor of other therapists. I've been practicing for 30 years, working with individuals and couples. In recent years, while searching for a solid couples therapy model, I became certified in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) and Discernment Counseling. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual and couple to build on their strengths and help them achieve the personal growth they are committed to.
