As a queer, Korean transracial adoptee, I understand the complexities of mixed and intersectional identities. I specialize in supporting teens and adults navigating racial identity formation, minority stress, intergenerational trauma, anxiety, and depression. My clients often want help fostering a deeper connection with themselves in order to strengthen their connections with others. They may find it hard to cope with our ever-changing world. I strive to create a space where clients feel seen and understood. I utilize a systems-based approach that acknowledges both the struggles and resiliencies within marginalized communities. I am passionate about working with clients to help them overcome periods of transition and stress with cultural responsiveness, compassion, and sensitivity. I utilize an eclectic approach of EMDR (for trauma and related symptoms) and narrative-style therapy (focused on story) to create a unique relationship with each person. As a social worker rooted in social justice and anti-colonial practice, I believe in the power of story, ancestral knowledge, and community to help clients thrive. I invite you to reach out for a free consultation to see if we’re a good fit. I’m committed to healing and liberation through our meaningful connection together. Currently I work Tuesday – Friday via telehealth. I am in network with BlueCross and BlueShield, Regence, First Choice Health | FCH, Kaiser, LifeWise, and Premera Blue Cross.

It's hard to slow down when everything around you says keep pushing. Maybe you feel like you can't stop — like easing up means letting someone down, or losing something you've worked too hard to risk. Showing weakness doesn't feel like an option. The pressure to perform is constant, and it's coming from every direction: family, community, your own relentless inner voice. You know this pace isn't sustainable. But you're not sure what stopping actually looks like — or who you are without the doing. The good news is that you don't have to keep living this way. I know this terrain because I've moved through it myself. I grew up in a world where asking for help wasn't easy — where mental health stayed quiet and achievement mattered most. When I finally went to therapy, it changed how I saw myself, how I carried expectations, and what I believed I was allowed to want. That experience is part of why I do this work — and how I show up for clients who are ready to put down some of what they've been carrying. If something in this is landing for you, I'd love to connect. Therapy with me is a space to slow down without falling apart — to figure out what's yours to carry and what isn't, and to find a way forward that actually fits who you are.

Relationships are the heartbeat of our lives, but sometimes they get stuck in patterns that feel impossible to break. My mission is to provide a safe space where couples and families can gently untangle negative cycles and find their way back to one another through communication and emotional safety. As a Level 2 Restoration therapist, I believe that true connection happens when we heal the heart as well as the mind. To support this, I integrate Brainspotting—a compassionate, trauma-informed approach that helps release deep-seated emotional pain stored in the body that traditional talk therapy might miss. By healing these hidden wounds from the past, we create room for new trust, hope, and lasting intimacy. It would be my privilege to walk beside you on this journey. I offer short-term intensive and Korean-language therapy.
