Sooyeon Lee-Garland

Ms. Lee-Garland has extensive years of clinical experiences working with individuals with various emotional struggles with depression, anxiety, traumatic life events, and/or relationship problems. She is currently completing doctoral dissertation on the topic of challenges and resilience among biracial individuals in relation to transnational activities in current globalized societies. Ms. Lee-Garland also provides clinical supervision to student interns and postgraduate clinicians as an AAMFT approved supervisor since 2008.

20년 이상의 임상 경험을 바탕으로 우울증, 불안증, 트라우마 혹은 관계적 문제 등 여러가지 갈등을 안고 있는 내담자들을 상담해 오고 있다. 현 글로벌 사회에서 '트랜스네셔널리즘이 이중 문화권에 있는 아시안계 사람들에게 미치는 민족/인종 정체성의 도전과 장점' 이라는 주제로 박사학위 논문을 마무리하는 과정에 있다. 또한 2008년 부터 미국 가족치료 협회의 공인 수퍼바이저로 학생들의 임상 지도를 맡아 오고 있다.
