Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the MSG Mental Health Directory (the "Service"), operated by Mustard Seed Generation ("MSG," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

The MSG Mental Health Directory is an online platform that connects members of the Korean American community with culturally competent mental health professionals. The Service provides a searchable directory of professionals and facilitates initial contact between users and professionals.

Not a Healthcare Provider

MSG is not a healthcare provider, does not provide medical advice, and does not practice medicine. The Service is a directory and referral resource only. We do not:

  • Provide mental health treatment or counseling
  • Diagnose or treat any medical or mental health condition
  • Guarantee the quality, credentials, or availability of any professional listed
  • Endorse any particular professional or treatment approach

Users are responsible for verifying the credentials and suitability of any professional they contact through the Service.

User Accounts

For Directory Users

No account is required to search the directory or view professional profiles. Submitting a contact form requires providing your name and email address.

For Mental Health Professionals

To list your practice, you must create an account and submit your profile for approval. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Maintain valid professional licenses and credentials
  • Keep your profile information current
  • Respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Comply with all applicable laws and professional ethics standards

Profile Approval and Removal

All professional profiles are subject to review and approval by MSG. We reserve the right to:

  • Approve, reject, or request modifications to any profile
  • Remove or suspend any profile at any time for any reason
  • Modify the criteria for listing in the directory

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or professionals
  • Send spam or unsolicited communications
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute directory content without permission

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding user-submitted content) are owned by MSG and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Professional profiles remain the property of the respective professionals but are licensed to MSG for display on the Service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. MSG DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED BY PROFESSIONALS LISTED IN THE DIRECTORY.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MSG SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES ARISING FROM ANY INTERACTION WITH A PROFESSIONAL FOUND THROUGH THE DIRECTORY.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MSG, its officers, directors, employees, and volunteers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Disclaimer of Endorsement

Mustard Seed Generation does not directly offer counseling services. Any reference on this website to any mental health professional, service or organization, or any linkages from this website to the website of another party, does not constitute or imply endorsement, recommendation, or favoring of Mustard Seed Generation or any of its volunteers acting on its behalf.

Mustard Seed Generation provides the information on this website "as is" for general information only. The views and the opinions expressed by any mental health professional or any referenced material do not necessarily state or reflect that of Mustard Seed Generation.
